SPOTLIGHT

GT1000, the Freshman Seminar, is a one-hour/one-credit graded course for first-year students. The course is taught in small classes of 25 to 30 students and assists freshmen in their academic and social transition to Georgia Tech. Examples of course topics include time management, study and learning strategies, team building, career and major exploration, resume writing, and academic and extracurricular involvement opportunities.
