Friend of the Freshman Seminar Award
The Friend of the Freshman Seminar Award honors the contributions of an outstanding individual, department, or organization that has supported Georgia Tech’s freshman seminar program.
Team Leader of the Year Awards
Each year, freshmen in GT1000 nominate outstanding Team Leaders for this award. Winners are chosen based on their relationship as a role model or mentor, ability to provide significant and sound advice, and their facilitation of the learning process in the classroom.
RATS Awards
Established in 2007, the RATS (Recognizing Achievement in Teaching Seminar) Awards. These awards recognize outstanding accomplishments in the GT1000 classroom and are open to all past and current GT1000 instructors and team leaders. Awards are presented at the annual banquet in fall semester. The purpose of the RATS Awards is to collect and recognize great achievements in the GT1000 Freshman Seminar classroom.
